You’ve convinced yourself that things will work out differently.

I understand you wholeheartedly believe it, that you genuinely want change. But life doesn’t always give us what we want.

I know love ties you to this man. I know your love can feel uplifting, but it often feels more like a burden.

I know the thought of leaving him paralyzes you.

The cycle of negativity has pulled you in deep, and escaping it now feels nearly impossible.

I’m aware you go through hardships daily, facing them with a brave smile. But this love isn’t doing you any good.

The love you feel is hurting you because he uses your emotions to exploit you.

You deserve respect and a man who takes you seriously, plans a future with you, and keeps his promises.

What you don’t deserve is a manipulative person who takes advantage of your feelings and uses you.

I know picturing life without him is hard, but you’ll regret staying with someone who only takes and never gives.
