We Shouldn’t Complicate Things When Love Is Simple

Have you ever come across or listened to those pure, charming definitions of love shared by children? They truly inspire reflection, don’t they?

While adults complicate love and relationships with numerous rules, children seem to effortlessly understand it through their feelings when connecting with others.

Their straightforward views genuinely prompt you to reconsider the intricate nature of love.

Why do we invest so much time trying to articulate love when we should embrace and experience it, as heavenly as it is?

There isn’t just one way to define love. Love is entirely what you desire it to be and how you envision it.

Everyone expresses love in unique manners and has particular needs in feeling appreciated, and at times it’s merely the chemistry shared between people.

For me, love is about listening. Completely engaging with all the mundane daily tales about work, to significant moments, to discussions about the universe, music, and literature.

Listening attentively, immersing in the story. For me, love is also about speaking. Speaking sincerely from the heart, communicating honestly.

For me, love is rooted in trust. Trusting wholeheartedly, without doubts.

Love encompasses savoring every moment, absorbing the scents, the lights, the ambiance. Cherishing the emotions you experience.

Praying represents love. Praying for one another, praying in unison, praying for our loved ones and for the entire world to be enveloped in peace through love.

Love is about sharing. Sharing your most personal thoughts, sharing your meals and your space, sharing your innermost emotions and truths because you can, you desire to, you essentially need to.

Love starts and concludes with friendship. A deep, enriching friendship that provides strength and significance. A companionship that encourages growth and transforms you for life.

Ultimately, love is a commitment. A vow to always remember.  A pledge to treasure, to prioritize above all else.

A vow to stand firm. A promise of acceptance. Love is a commitment to never cause each other pain.

A promise to strive towards being your best self. A promise made to yourself, to the divine, to the entire universe.
