If He Doesn’t Do These 5 Things, He Doesn’t Really Love You
Even if he seems like the most incredible person alive, he might not be the best match for you. Having a boyfriend means he should naturally do certain things to show his affection for you. Sadly, if he fails to do these few things, it’s time to wake up and realize that he doesn’t truly love you; he simply loves the idea of having a girlfriend.
If he’s not interested in asking questions about your day or getting to know you better, it’s a sign he doesn’t care. If he never asks questions such as, “How are you?”, “How was your day?” or, “What are you up to?”, it’s clear he has no genuine interest in you.
When you see him, if he doesn’t seem genuinely happy to be with you, then he’s probably not the right person for you. Your boyfriend should always look forward to seeing you and spending time together. So, when you do get a chance to hang out, he should be thrilled to see you. If he acts indifferent, lacks smiles, and appears more irritated than anything else, he doesn’t enjoy your company.
During conversations with you, he should look you in the eyes and give you his full attention. If you’re talking to him, he should always offer his undivided attention—unless he’s driving. If his eyes wander or he avoids looking at you, it’s time to let him go. When you speak to him, he should want to hear every word, giving you all his attention. It’s simply polite to make eye contact when someone is talking to you. Your boyfriend, especially, should understand this and abide by it. If he doesn’t, he probably doesn’t deserve your attentiveness.
He should naturally express love verbally; it should be part of the relationship. If he is not telling you that he loves you often, it’s time for him to go. You deserve a partner who shows you that you mean everything to him. For instance, he should say, “I love you” when you end phone calls or after spending time together. If he isn’t using the L word as often as he should, it’s time to face the hard truth that he might not be in love with you. He might just be in love with the idea of being in a relationship.
If your boyfriend doesn’t show any sign of being attracted to you, it’s time to move on. He should be hugging, kissing, holding your hand, and showing physical affection. If he barely gives you a kiss or acts uninterested in being near you, he’s not the one. Your partner should prove his attraction to you in every way. Being around him should make you feel like the most beautiful person in the world, as he should evoke that emotion. If he doesn’t, it might be time to look for someone new.
Of course, not all guys are the same, and maturity levels vary., However, every man should engage in these actions with their partner. Nobody wants to be with someone who seems disinterested. If you start noticing any of these five behaviors, it may be best to walk away and end a bad relationship before it worsens.
